Online poker-site PokerHeaven heeft een Poker IQ Test op Facebook gezet. Je kunt de test doen, je score bekijken en vergelijken met die van anderen. Het is ook een wedstrijd.
In de eerste twee dagen werd de test meteen 1700 keer gedownload. Ene Tajdar O. Chaudry had met 312 punten de hoogste score en was daarmee een 'Immeasurable Genius'.
Ik heb het gespeeld en je kan het steeds overnieuw doen om je score op te krikken. Zo leer je er ook van, hoewel je zelf de redenatie achter het antwoord moet vinden. Maar al met al een zeer goede trainer, zeker voor pot odds.
De situaties zijn steeds tot grote hoogte hetzelfde: je tegenstander is all-in (met een variabel bedrag) op de turn en jij moet op basis van je outs en de odds bepalen of je kunt callen of moet folden. Leuk om te doen en je hebt ook een redelijke tijd om het even uit te rekenen als het lastig is.
